Nylon’s new September issue is fresh off the press with actress Emily Vancamp, of the hit television show Revenge, on the cover. Nylon is one of my favorite magazines, so I am always looking to them for inspiration, but this issue in particular stood out to me. Nylon is known for its unique style and aesthetic. It caters to a very specific kind of girl. And this vibe was definitely carried throughout the in spread with the styling. I love the mix of graphic patterns: having thick stripes paired with an optical print breaks all kinds of rules, but it looks fantastic. The pairing of the sparkling pencil skirt with contrasting black and white oxfords along with a snap back is also a contradiction within itself, but it totally works. I will always love Nylon for its uniqueness and imagination, and I expect you will too.
